Processing technology:

The toothbrush  handle is made of bamboo, an environmentally sustainable material.  

The bamboo is heat treated to carbonize the surface of the bamboo, dried, carved and coated with an edible wax coating to give it a high quality finish and a good service life.

The carbonization finishing process provides water resistance and prevents the growth of microbes (bacteria and moulds) during normal use.

Bamboo products are recognized as emerging materials in the 21st century due to their zero-emission,   relatively environmentally friendly,   green and renewable characteristics. It is not affected by the oil crisis and also reduces the problem of white pollution.
We use wild natural bamboo. After cutting an old bamboo stock a new stock grows up to around 65ft within 2 years.
Our bamboo toothbrush handles can be composted and in normal commercial composting conditions the bamboo handle will biodegrade and return to the earth within 6 months.
