NETWORK Cat6a Cable
Cat6a cable can support 10GBASE-T Ethernet application standard, meet the standard application of 100m range, without additional external crosstalk test.
When analyzing the difference of CAT5e and CAT6 cables products performance, it also talks about the application of CAT6 cables in 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
In fact, the application standard of 10 Gigabit Ethernet 10GBASE-T was officially released by IEEE standards committee in ieee802.3an as early as September 2006.
In order to meet the application requirements of 10 Gigabit Ethernet, all major cabling standardization organizations (such as international standardization iso11801 and American tia568b) issued a new cabling system standard for 10 Gigabit Ethernet Application in 2008, namely super six types of generic cabling standard.
The performance of Super Six cabling system is much higher than that of the original six cabling system in terms of anti electromagnetic interference and transmission performance.

What the difference between CAT6 and CAT6A network Cables:

Network Bandwidth
Physical bandwidth of CAT6 wiring: 250MHz, physical bandwidth of cat6a wiring: 500MHz;
Note: the larger the physical bandwidth, the higher the transmission rate supported.

Application
10GBASE-T 10 Gigabit Ethernet application standard supported by CAT6 cabling, but the transmission distance is limited to 37 meters (and external Crosstalk Test shall be added to re evaluate the performance of category 6 cabling system against external electromagnetic interference).

Description: cat6a cabling system can fully meet the application requirements of 10 Gigabit Ethernet over 100 meters. There are many defects in the transmission of 10 Gigabit Ethernet by cat6a cabling system.

Strucure
Cable Cat6a usually adopts the method of shielding aluminum foil plus total shielding aluminum foil to achieve extremely good shielding effect against external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk between pairs of wires.
Compared with the cross skeleton structure, the crosstalk between the six types of unshielded twisted pair is 15-35db higher in the range of (1-250MHz).
Note: the most important premise for the stable and high-speed data transmission of the cabling system is to minimize the crosstalk between pairs of wires and avoid the external electromagnetic interference of cables.

Results
It has been more than 20 years since the development of generic cabling system. With the popularization of network applications in various fields, the number of ports has increased dramatically.
And with the continuous development of information technology, the user’s requirements for network operation speed are higher and higher.
In order to support the development of network speed,  the network cabling system also extends,  from the initial three types of systems to today’s cat6a,  which supports 10 Gigabit transmission,  which can provide 10 Gbps transmission rate.
So at present, the transmission performance of copper cabling is no longer the bottleneck of application.
