What is FFGI STEEL?

FFGI STEEL is a lightweight anti-corrosion building materials jointly developed by Fangxing and DuPont in the United States. It is pretreated steel laminated by PVDF or PVC Resin Films on both sizes via an unique melting and pressing process at high temperature.

FFGI Steel Plate combines both the advantages of steel and resin, 

which has the characteristics of super Corrosion Resistance, Excellent Weather Resistance, Rich Colors of Resin; 

and many excellent functions such as Class A Fire resistance, High Impact resistance, No Thermal Deformation of Metal Plate. 

By using FFGI, The contact between corrosive material and metal plate is isolated, which solves the problem of corrosion of metal plate. FFGI Steel Plate also has outstanding characteristics such as heat insulation, color retention, Fireproof and self-cleaning etc., It gradually replaces ordinary Color coated steel plates.

FFGI steel compared with color prepainted steel:

Different from the painting process of color steel, we attach resin films to the upper and lower layers of Substrate steel, which can completely cover the substrate to prevent corrosion. All wet paint contains solvent, which make the surface of  color coated steel full of micropores after the thinners volatilizing. 

The corrosive materials can penetrate into the base material step by step, which lead to corrosion. While we can not see the micropores by our eyes.
