The powdered coal-based activated carton, which is screened in the process, features developed mesopore, good adsorption capacity, fast filtering. It also has the ability of flocculation, drainagen and is mainly used in purification, discoloration and deodorization of the water from water works and sewage treatment plants. It is the preferred material for pollution control of rivers and lakes. It is widely used in amino acid industry, sugar refinery, monosodium glutamate industry, glucose industry, chemical additives, dye intermediate, food additives and pharmaceutical preparations. It is the main raw material of making activated carbon filter, activated carbon foam and activated carbon carving.
