PE Pipes are available in ranges from 16 mm to 800 mm. Black and blue colours are available for water and associated applications to ISO 4427 and BS EN 12666. Whilst yellow is commonly used for gas to ISO 4437 and BS EN 1555. Whereas pipes with blue, red, orange and green colours are used for telecom duct application. PE system consists of large variety of fittings of butt fusion, electrofusion, compression and mechanical and flange joints. Hepworth PME (Qatar) WLL holds kitemark certificates on it’s PE pipes manufactured for Water and Gas applications, also WRAS approval is available for pipes used for potable water application. Application: Although PE pipes are mainly used for conveying water and gas, irrigation, underground fire protection services. they have many other applications, some of which are sewage pumping mains, foul sewer, surface perforated and non perforated ground water, chilled water, demineralized water, industrial and chemical applications, submarine pipes, vacuum sewage, telecom duct, ship building, and sea water intakes.
