Calcium metal is a silver-white light metal with ductility and great chemical activity. It is very easy to oxidize in the air, and it can have a violent effect with water and acid. Calcium metal is widely used in metallurgy, nuclear, chemical, pharmaceutical, electrical appliances and other industries. Mainly used for refining various alloys, it is a good deoxidizer, desulfurizer, degasser, reducing agent, etc.

Generally in the steel industry, Calcium Metal the main purpose of metallic calcium is to process into metallic calcium particles, and then make calcium iron wire or pure calcium wire, which is finally used in the refining of iron and steel. Its role is to desulfurize and deoxidize and increase the fluidity of molten steel and to promote the rapid rise of inclusions in molten steel, generally used for the production of high-quality steel.metallic calcium is used as a dehydrating agent in producing waterfree alcohol and used as desulfurizert in the petroleum industry , used to deoxidize or desulfurize in the metallurgical industry.However, calcium compounds have extremely wide applications, especially in the construction industry.
