Usage:

Put the solar panel directly under sunshine and make sure it can get sunshine as more as possible.

In order to ensure useful charging, we do not suggest the charging at early morning or late afternoon.

1) 18V out Charging Kinds of Laptops: 

Connecting the solar panel charger with the SAE to DC5521 converting cable, then choosing the matched connector to connect with your laptop. There are 10 connectors for brands of laptops, plug in and play. If the laptop’s charging indicator is on, it is charging.

2) Charging the 12V Lead-Acid Battery:

Please do follow below steps to do the right connection. Otherwise, it may be damage to your battery and solar controller.

1. Connecting the solar controller to the 12v lead-acid battery though the matched battery clamps. The alligator clip’s “+” is matched with battery’s “+”, and also for “-”. The indicator on solar controller for battery will be on.

2. Connecting the solar panel to the solar controller. The indicator on solar controller for solar panel will be on, it is for normal charging.

3. When fully charged, the indicator for battery will flash, you can put the solar panel down from the battery. Please firstly move the solar panel with solar controller, then move the solar controller from battery.

(The solar controller is used to maintain your battery in a fully charged state while protecting it from over charge and solar discharge. Please refer to the manual of solar controller to see its more details.)

Remark:

Please be careful when the two battery clamps are connected on battery.

Please don’t let them be together. Otherwise, it will be short-circuit!

Here this kind of solar controller only used on 12v lead-acid battery.

If other battery types, you can contact us for different solar controllers.

3) Charging portable power station:

Before using, please firstly confirm whether your portable power station can accept the charging from 18v solar panel. And whether its input charging port is DC5521 female one.

If yes, after the solar panel is put under direct sunshine, you can find the SAE-5521 male port converting cable in the package to connect with the portable power station. Then you can find normal charging.
