Founded in the year 2002 and after 18 years’ joint effort, Jiangsu Hanbao has expanded its products offering from a single product: plywood to nearly one hundred building material products. Hanbao has been like a ship that evolves bigger and bigger riding winds and waves and never stops. Although there have been quite a few ups and downs, Hanbao keeps going forward with a beginner’s mind.

The founder of Jiangsu Hanbao was the secretary of the CPC committee in the first state-owned wood panel group in 1990. Jiangsu Hanbao naturally has technique/skill -driven gene since its establishment, and the whole start-up team all came from a frontline production background.  Craftsman qualities such as hardworking, persistent, and pursuits for innovation and breakthrough, etc have been rooted in the blood of Hanbaoer since day 1.

In the past 18 years, Hanbao dedicated itself to testing and developing product ranges step by step and now can categorize its products into 3 main areas: exterior building material, interior, and decorative building materials, and indoor semi-finished & finished furnishings. Till today Hanbao’s products have been exported to as many as 130  countries with annual sales volume ranking top 5 in this industry in China over the years.

Hanbao does not only pay attention to acquiring knowledge from books and production but also peruses ‘seeing is believing’ by traveling a thousand miles to visit customers and projects in North America, South America, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia, etc each year to learn real local demands and then feedback to our production team to improve corresponding products based on real understanding.

In 2019, Hanbao established a new company for the domestic market, targeting a certain group of young and middle-aged consumers who have a great sense of taste and can appreciate new and different ideas.  The unique Silk board and related door and floor series took Hanbao 3 years to develop.  And this series was used as knocking door products for Hanbao to enter the domestic market and very glad to tell everybody that this product series is winning the heart of not only targeted consumers but also attentions from famous traditional household companies in China.

Now Hanbao is more and more confident and determined to forge itself into a world-class building material player by sharing powerful manufacturing and design resources from China with international clients and in the meantime sharing more advanced environmental and aesthetic awareness with domestic consumers. Hanbaoers will not give up upgrading themselves and making contributions to a harmonious society.

2020 is a turbulent and abnormal year.  COVID 19 has been troubling our team, our suppliers, and our customers. But we believe that this is all temporary. Having experienced the global financial crisis in 2008 / 09, several rounds of trade wars between China and the United States, and anti-dumping and countervailing barriers in different regions of the world against our products, we are mentally prepared for any new difficulties and get used to moving forward with obstacles. Dear customers, dear Hanbaoer, and dear suppliers let us all work hard to move forward. Today is very hard, but we firmly believe that the day after tomorrow is beautiful.
