Established in 2006, Gretsa University is a progressive University committed to offering quality and relevant higher education. The University is duly registered and accredited by the Commission for University Education (CUE). 

The University offers, Degree, Diploma and Certificate programmes in Business; Education; Computer Science; Hospitality and Tourism Management; Social Work and Community Development; and Health Sciences-all under a variety of specialization options. 

As at December 2019, the University had successfully held ten graduation ceremonies.  Alumni of over 7,000 has been conferred with Degrees and awarded Certificates and Diplomas over this period. These graduates play a critical role in the socio-economic development of Kenya in particular and the rest of the world. In pursuit of its vision of being a professional and quality driven institution, the University has continued to expand its facilities and develop new and relevant academic programmes that are designed to meet the needs of the society.
