GBP-D series Medium Voltage Vfd structure as shown below, consists of phase-shifting transformer cabinet, power unit cabinet and control cabinet ( bypass switch cabinet is optional according to customer requirements.)


GBP-D Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drive Principle

System

GBP-D medium voltage variable frequency drive use series power unit technology to solve the voltage withstand problem. Multi PWM signal in series connection stacking after phase shift to reduce harmonics from output side, decrease dv/dt of output voltage; reduce the harmonic which feedback to the power grid and reduce the harmonic pollution to the power grid through current multiplex technology. The main controller uses digital signal processor, programmable gate array (CPLD and FPGA) as the core, cooperate with data acquisition unit, unit controller and fiber communication loop together with PLC, the above come up with the control system.

◆ External output filter device is not necessary, with perfect harmonic-free characteristics.

◆ High efficiency, the total efficiency of the system is over 96% under rated working conditions, of which the frequency conversion part efficiency is up to 98%.

◆ No special requirements for motor, suitable for ordinary medium voltage motor, no length limit for motor cable.

◆ A comprehensive operation monitoring system with up to tens of thousands of operation log monitoring, can timely and accurately lock each fault points.

◆ Perfect self-diagnosis function.

◆ No need any filter devices before power unit to reduce the VFD volume.

◆ Power unit is controlled by fiber communication, which is complete electrical isolation to improve system security.

◆ power unit is modular structure which is interchangeable for quick disassembly and simple maintenance.

◆ With electrical constant deceleration function to minimize mechanical impact.

◆ With bypass function of fault power unit and the function of start galloping machine.
