3. Product Introduction

 

The production process of magnesium aluminum series is quite similar to that of magnesia series. The only difference is that ingredients in the series contains a certain proportion of industrial alumina or super alumina clinker. The series is also be produced by pressure moulding and sintering within high temperature. The impurity content of industrial alumina is lower than that of high bauxite clinker. Adding natural bauxite clinker into ingredients is able to improve plasticity of the clay. In the same condition, volume density of raw bricks will be higher.

 

The amount added of industrial alumina is commonly 5% ~ 10%. It is usually fine grinded together with magnesia by a certain proportion. With adding those fine powder, it is conducive to form an uniform distribution of new phases of magnesium aluminum spinel series in products substrate. In addition, another producing method is pre-synthesis magnesium aluminum spinel and then batching to produce as blocks. In the process of batching, large critical particle size is conducive to improve thermal shock resistance of the product. However, it goes against product density and strength. Therefore, the size is usually adopted to 3 mm.

The particle size is generally 3 ~ 1mm and 1 ~ 0.088mm, and the proportion of 3 ~ 2mm coarse particles and fine powder less than 0.088mm should be controlled to improve thermal shock resistance of the series. The combustion temperature of magnesium aluminum product should be determined on the basis of purity of raw materials. More specifically, the temperature should be generally 30 ~ 50℃ higher than that of magnesium product. And combustion temperature of high-purity magnesium aluminum product is 1750 ~ 1800℃.

 

4. Application

 

The product is widely used in top space structure of glass furnace and the lining of calcined lime and cement rotary furnace.

 

5. Characteristics   

 

The series has advantages of good erosion resistance, peeling resistance, high temperature resistance, low product pollution, etc.

The fuel available for furnace has basically included all common kinds in China, such as common pipeline natural gas, liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, coke oven gas, rock gas, heavy oil, coal tar, light diesel oil, petroleum coke and coal powder. And we were the first and earliest to try and explore in most of those fields. Currently, we have already owned more than 40 oxygen-fuel furnaces in operation among our customers in China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.

 

With the advantage of huge-scale bases of refractory manufacture in China and rich knowledge of refractory materials and connections in related industries, we are able to offer our customers almost all kinds of refractory materials applied in oxygen-fuel combustion furnace, and develop special refractory materials according to market demands. In recent years, we have already gathered a great deal of practical experience in developing special sealing materials, thermal insulation coatings, amorphous light thermal insulation lining, burner block, electric melting thermal couple sleeve brick, mixing rod, special uniform barrel, sandwich block and three anti brick.

 

If the furnace is the heart of a factory, combustion equipment and control system are the key nervous system of the heart. We can provide customers control skid group and DCS system with all common fuels except coal gas, as well as matched furnace pressure control system, glass level control system, industrial television monitoring system, replaceable wear-resistant screw angle feeder, fully sealed hopper feeder, forehearth heating system (full oxygen, air), forehearth mixing system, forehearth automatic discharging system, and other relevant equipment needed in oxygen-fuel combustion furnaces.

 

Considering of the particularity of oxygen-fuel combustion furnace, many of factories are lack of specialized persons in furnace masonry and furnace heating aspects. We are capable to render technical guidance or construction for the whole set of construction from furnace construction, steel structure production, installation and masonry, furnace heating, feeding, hot repairing and so forth. We can truly realize a “turnkey” project for our clients.

 

Although the oxygen-fuel combustion technology often owns good performance in exhaust emissions, however, for some products due to raw materials, fuel, processing and other relevant reasons, exhaust emissions still need to be processed before being discharged into the atmosphere. According to the technology we mastered and the combination of advantages on tail gas treatment from IHARA(JPN), we are able to provide customers a variety of technical supports such as bag type dust removal, EP dust removal, desulfurization, defluorination and lead removal for different conditions. And we have unique insights and rich practical experience in the utilization of exhaust gas.
