Product introduction
CLAF Mini is a 6-DOF haptic device, it can transfer the force data in virtual reality to real force sense in real world as a new kind of human-machine interactive tool, thus the operator can sense all of the force/haptic information such as Contact, Collision and Friction in virtual reality.
There are 6 degrees of freedom in CLAF Mini, it can detect 3 positions information(X, Y, Z) and 3 orientations information(Yaw, Pitch, Roll) and then transfer them to the virtual environment built in computer. Virtual environment can generate some force data based on the virtual object attribute and collision situation. These force data can transfer to CLAF Mini and then generate real force sense for human which can bring extremely immersive sense.
Based on the realistic simulation of real operation, CLAF Mini can be used for surgical skill training, shorten training cycle, reduce training consumables, improve training efficiency, achieving the goal of improving real surgical skill in virtual environment.
