1. VALVE OPENING- FULLY OPEN
The slip, valve body and seal fully contacted, the metal parts of slip and body form a metal seal, and the main seal and body form a rubber seal, which enables the good sealing performance.
2. VALVE OPENING- PRE-OPEN
Operate the hand wheel counterclockwise, the plug will move upward, the slip will extract by the wedge-shaped guide rail and separate with the body to form a gap.
3. VALVE OPENING- HALF-OPEN
Keep operating the hand wheel, the plug will be changed to axial rotation from axial lift, the slip will rotate with the plug, the valve will be opened slowly.
During the process, the slip seal will not contact with body, so there will be no mechanical friction.
4. VALVE OPENING- FULL OPEN
Keep operating the hand wheel, the valve will be fully opened when the plug bore and body bore fully matches.
The indicator will be parallel to the pipeline during then.
