DESCRIPTION

Silicone Hydrophobic Powder is a fine, free flowing powder, specifically designed as a hydrophobic additive for demanding cementitious drymix formulations.

It was developed to offer the performance of a liquid silicon-based hydrophobic material in dry delivery systems. It can be used in many application areas where the protection of the substrate from liquid water ingress is a critical issue.

PROPERRTIES

-Improve the water repellent property of cement base material, reduce the water absorption of the base material.

-Reduce alkali

- As a barrier to the capillary movement of liquid water into the cured cement base material.

-Suggestion of dosage is 0.5%-1% of drymix material by weight. It almost does not affect the compressive strength of mortars.

PACKAGE AND STORAGE

Standard package: 15kg per Kraft paper bag, with polyethylene inner bag.

The product may be stored for 12 months from the date of manufacture in the unopened original container. Keep container tightly closed under cool and light proof conditions. Once opened, use contents quickly.
