7.Cable structure and technical requirements

7.1 Conductor

PV1-F: Construction and performance of conductor shall conform to the requirements specified in 2Pfg1169/08.2007.

H1Z2Z2-K: Class 5 tinned copper conductor is applied, the structure and property shall conform to EN 50618-2014.

7.2 Insulation

PV1-F: Irradiation insulating material of halogen free flame retardant photovoltaic cable shall be applied. Thickness of insulation shall conform to the requirement specified in 2Pfg1169/08.2007. Color of insulation shall be black.

H1Z2Z2-K: LSOH flame retardant PV cable irradiation insulation material is applied, the thickness of insulation shall conform to EN50618-2014. The color of insulation can be white, black or red.

7.3 Sheath

PV1-F:Irradiation sheathing material of halogen free flame retardant photovoltaic cable shall be applied. Thickness of sheath shall conform to the requirement specified in 2Pfg1169/08.2007. Color of sheath shall be black or red.

H1Z2Z2-K: LSOH flame retardant PV cable irradiation sheath material is applied, the thickness of insulation shall conform to EN50618-2014. The color of insulation can be black or red.

8. PV cable is not allowed to be directly buried, installed in water or in similar way.
