Small grains and legumes

Shanxi is known as "the kingdom of coarse cereals", and Luliang is the "kingdom" in the "kingdom". There are more than 20 kinds of small grains in Luliang, such as millet, soybean, miscellaneous beans, naked buckwheat, etc. At present, the annual planting area of coarse cereals is about 2 million mu, accounting for about 1 / 5 of the whole province, and the output is 180 million kg, accounting for 12.6% of the province. Luliang is located in the middle part of Luliang Mountain. More than 97% of its land area is hilly landform. 

It belongs to semi-arid continental monsoon climate, with high temperature and humidity in the same season, large temperature difference between day and night, and long sunshine time. This geological and climatic condition is suitable for the growth habit of small grains. More than 20 kinds of small grains produced by Luliang are planted in the deep mountains without any industrial pollution source. The fertilizers used are farm manure, basically free of diseases and insect pests, and are pure natural green food.
