Mianning cabbage

Mianning county is located in southwest of Sichuan Province and north of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. It is at the altitude of about 2000m and has the unique geographical conditions of high altitude, low temperature and dry climate due to influence of Anning river valley climate. Mianning cabbage is tender and nutritious for its rich content of various vitamins and amino acids. It is good in taste, white in juice and fine and soft in fiber, and thin in leaf edge. It is easy to cook. The uncooked cabbage is refreshing and delicious while the cooked ones is sweet and fatty. Mianing cabbage can be preserved for a long time. All of these make it the main vegetable on tables of Mianning people in winter.
