Ceramic foam filter can effectively remove solid inclusions in molten metal, significantly improve casting quality and reduce reject rate. It can also be used in continuous casting and rolling process, and can be made into corresponding sizes and different thickness according to runner and pouring weight. Its main functions:

 ● improve the metallographic structure of castings

 ● reduce reoxidation defects inside castings

 Different materials ceramic foam filter:

 ●  Alumina ceramic foam filter is used at 1250℃. It is mainly used for filtration and purification of aluminum and alloy solutions.

 ●  Silicon carbide foam ceramic filter is used at 1530°C. It is mainly used for filtration of alloy castings, such as ductile iron, gray iron, aluminum and copper.

 ●  Zirconia ceramic foam filter has three dimensional pore structure, high temperature resistance (up to 1700℃) and high strength. It is mainly used in cast steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals and their alloys.
