According to the power industry standard of our country: DLT596 "Preventive Test Code for Power equipment", the requirements for power transformers are as follows: "the grounding current of iron core in operation is generally no more than 0.1A". The transformer core in normal operation is grounded at a single point. If two or more points are grounded at the same time, a current loop will be formed between the core and the earth, and the maximum current can reach dozens of amperes, which will cause local overheating or even burn out of the core. Finding the latent faults of the transformer as soon as possible is the main means to ensure the safe operation and normal maintenance of the transformer. Under conditional conditions, the iron core grounding current can be monitored on-line. It is specially suggested that this instrument is dual-purpose and has a built-in large-capacity lithium battery. when the instrument is not in use for a long time, it is recommended to charge and maintain it every other month to avoid battery self-discharge depletion and damage to the battery.
