Synthetic blood penetration, water resistance, filtration efficiency and other items were tested, and the air permeability of the samples was tested with reference to GB/T 24218.15-2018 "Test Methods for Textiles and Nonwovens Part 15: Determination of Air Permeability".

The test results show that 27 types of medical disposable coverall can effectively filter particles in the air, and the filtration efficiency is above 90%; the liquid barrier performance varies among individuals, but all meet the standard requirements and perform well. Only 4 of the 18 types of isolation gowns have a filtration efficiency of ≥70%, meeting the standard requirements for medical disposable protective clothing; 3 types of samples fail to meet the standard requirements for water resistance and synthetic blood penetration, and only the surface moisture resistance is tested. The results were not significantly different from those of medical disposable protective clothing. The average filtration efficiency of the 5 ordinary textile jackets is only 17%, which basically has no protective performance.

Therefore, we do not recommend prevent yourself from COVID-19 by wearing PPE products.
