Detection Kit for Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1 RNA (PCR-Fluorescence Probing) 

【Intended Use】

This kit is suitable for in vitro qualitative detection of Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1（HIV-1）nucleic acid in serum samples. The test results can be used for auxiliary diagnosis of HIV-1 infection and evaluate the efficacy of antiviral therapy and monitor  recurrence. The test results are for clinical reference only and should not be used as the sole criterion for clinical diagnosis. This kit  should not be used for blood screening. 

AIDS is a chronic disease caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), which destroys the immune capacity of the human body  and causes the immune system to lose its resistance. It has the characteristics of strong infectivity, wide prevalence and higher  incidence. Common clinical symptoms include persistent extensive lymphadenopathy, fever, night sweats, severe fatigue, weight  loss, etc. 

【Principle】  

This kit uses multiple fluorescent PCR detection technology to achieve qualitative detection of HIV-1 in the sample to be tested by  using a pair of specific primers and a specific fluorescent probe for HIV-1. The kit is provided with an internal control, which can  monitor whether there is PCR inhibitor in the sample to be tested by detecting whether the internal control is normal or not, so as to  avoid false negative PCR.

 Applicable sample type: serum specimens.

Applicable Instrument: ABI7500, ABI 7500 Fast and other Real-time fluorescence PCR instrument with FAM, VIC channels. 

Vortex shaker, palm centrifuge, pipette are needed.

Store below 30°C. It is valid for 12 months.
