Introduction
Founded by the lidar research team of Ocean University of China and academician Wenqing Liu of Institute of optics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao Leice Transient Technology Co.,Ltd focuses on the R & D, manufacturing and technical services of atmospheric and marine remote sensing lidar. Leice provides high-performance and high reliability lidar products, integration and total solution for meteorological observation, environmental monitoring, smart wind power, aviation and military industry. The company is a national high-tech enterprise, with quality system ISO9001 certified, with products certified by SGS, WindGuard, DNV_ GL and other international authorities. The technical achievements won the first prize of Qingdao technology invention, and awarded the 5th National Honor of the 7th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Leice team has successfully developed and finalized various type of wind lidars, for different applications in aviation meteorology, environmental meteorology, smart wind power, national defense and military etc. The products have been successfully applied for meteorological support in Olympic Games 2008, in Shenzhou VII capsule recovery, 70th Anniversary Celebration of National Day in 2019, and in the lidar network project of dust monitoring along “The Belt and Road”. Leice’s wind lidar has passed the comparative verification test with the traditional wind cups from Shenzhen met tower, organized by the meteorological center of China Meteorological Administration. Leice’s lidar also has passed the comparative verification test with theodolite for wind measurement, conducted by troops. Significantly, Leice’s lidar has been certified by the international authorities such as WindGuard, DNV_GL, and China General Certification, compliant to the IEC61400 standards with measurement accuracy up to that of Class 1 anemometer.
