Lanzhou LS Petroleum Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd (short for LSPE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lanzhou LS Group Co., Ltd (short for LS).LS Group was founded in 1953. Merged by former Lanzhou Petrochemical Machinery Works and Lanzhou Refinery and Petrochemical Plant, which were two of 156 key projects of the China’s first ‘Five Year-Plan’. It is the largest production base of oil drilling production machinery and refinery and chemical equipment in China. It makes outstanding contributions to petroleum and chemical industries development in China. LSPE has over 67 years and deep oil drilling rigs manufacture history and technical basis. The predecessor of LSPE was Lanzhou LS-National Oilwell Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd. which was a Sino-American joint venture established by LS Group and National Oilwell through joint investment in December 2000. In April 2013, all shares of National Oilwell were bought back by LS Group which changed the company name to Lanzhou LS Petroleum Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd. It is a professional oil drilling and production equipment manufacturing enterprise which integrates scientific research, development, design, manufacture and engineering technology service. It has the capacity of manufacturing various onshore oil drilling rigs, offshore drilling modules and various models of pumping units with drilling depth of 1000m to 12000m (450HP to 4000HP). Driving mode of oil drilling rig includes diesel direct drive, DC electric drive, AC variable frequency electric drive, mechanical-electric compound drive and mechanical transmission.
