“巴林龙城”是中国在“一带一路”沿线国家最成功的商业项目之一,是中国中东投资贸易促进中心(Chinamex)继“迪拜龙城”之后实施的又一个大型中国商品海外分拨中心。入驻“巴林龙城”的企业有来自中国和巴林的制造商、贸易商、电商平台、连锁品牌旗舰店、工厂直营店,以及跨境电商“海外仓”等,经营的商品品类包括:电子电器、文体休闲、纺织布艺、儿童用品、家居用品、建材洁具、五金工具、灯具照明、家具厨具等九大类。 “巴林龙城”自2015年运营以来,已成为巴林并辐射沙特、科威特等市场最有影响力的贸易平台。2019年,入驻巴林龙城的中国企业和本地公司超过650家;当年客流量超过920万人次,五年总客流量近3500万人次,其中超过六成访客来自沙特和科威特;同年从中国的进口额达3.5亿美元,实现对境外销售份额超过70%,批零比例达到60/40,成为海湾地区名副其实的转口贸易集散地。 “巴林龙城”成熟的业态和平台模式,一定会成为中国企业在后疫情时代提早布局中东、抢滩海湾市场提供最佳的机会。 Dragon City Bahrain is one of the most successful commercial projects along the countries of “Belt and Road” initiative promoted by China, and is the second large-scale Chinese commodities distribution center developed by Chinamex Middle East Investment & Trade Promotion Center (“CHINAMEX”) after the DragonMart Dubai. The Dragon City Bahrain combines Chinese and local manufacturers, traders, e-commerce dealers, flagship stores, factory stores, as well as overseas warehouse for cross-border e-commerce platform together. The products in Dragon City Bahrain varies from nine categories, namely electronics, sport and leisure, textile & garments, children’s products, household goods, building materials and sanitary ware, hardware & tools; lightings; furniture and kitchenware. Since its operation in 2015, Dragon City Bahrain has become the most influential trading platform in Bahrain, and expanded its influence to markets of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and so on. In 2019, more than 650 Chinese and local companies operated in Dragon City and the annual footfall reached over 9.2 million, and the total number of footfall in the past five years was nearly 35 million, among which over 60% came from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. In 2019, the import volume from China reached USD 350 million, and the share of transit sales exceeded 70% of its total sales, with the wholesale/retail ratio reaching 60/40, making it a business hub in the Gulf Region.
