JKUAT remains the most preferred training institution for secondary school leavers according to the Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Services.   Academic Programmes The JKUAT offers quality academic programmes which are regulated by the Commission for University Education and other relevant professional bodies. The programmes are subjected to periodic reviews and evaluation that seek to test their responsiveness to the needs and demands of the industry and the Kenyan economy. The University is organized under the Collegiate System.
