 The team which consists of Chinese, French and British members carried out the research on low-carbon catalytic combustion of methane jointly. The colored glaze for ancient architecture was developed by catalytic combustion. A new method of recycling tailings and fly ash was put forward. The manufacturing technique of colored glaze art was innovated.

Its physical indicators are in line with national regulations for glazed tiles. The utilization of fly ash not only alleviates environmental pollution, but also saves raw materials and turns waste into treasure.

At present, the features of colored glaze art display made by catalytic combustion of methane were elegant and delicate. The glazed tiles with pure solid texture, rich melodic style and glamorous colors were also obtained. It was found pleasing to both the eye and the mind.
